From an early age, I’ve loved building things. It started with making simple physical products by putting together old, rusty broken electronic parts, but as I grew my love for building things took all different forms. I spent 7 years making animation for film and TV which grew my interest in storytelling and visual communication.
Animation is essentially expressing emotions to tell a story that connects with the audience using visual communication. I bring this experience in my product design work as well where it’s applicable. This has allowed me to see design and user needs from a different perspective and helped me tailor solutions to users’ and business needs. My hope is to make products that help make people’s lives a bit easier and experiences that people can connect with.
I am now studying at The University of Toronto to deepen my understanding of designing human-centered products, learning the role of leadership in design, and meeting lots of new people every day.
